2018 CERT Monthly Trainings

December 19 - End of Year Party

 

Emergency Medical Technician Class

When:January 19th –May 25, 2019

Where:  Washington Station, Crescent City

Cost:$700 includes books and insurance

Instructor:Cindy Henderson

This is a National Registry E.M.T. Class 

The class will meet every other Monday nights from 6:00 -10:00 p.m. and every Saturday 8:00 to 5:00 p.m.

Space is limited!  Fee must be paid before your seat is guaranteed in the class.

10-11:30am - Unit 7: Disaster Psychology

11:30a-12:30pm - Lunch

12:30-3pm - Unit 8: Terrorism/Response

3-5pm - Final Exam/Disaster Simulation

CERT Train-the-Trainer*

*COURSE REQUIREMENTS: (1) A referral from a CERT-sponsored agency and (2) Completion of the CERT Basic Training course or IS-317: Introduction to CERT

This course prepares participants to deliver FEMA's CERT Basic Training course, convey the messages and intent of the CERT Program, such as safety, teamwork and place in overall community emergency operations plan; assure that students achieve the objectives of the CERT Basic Training and create a comfortable yet managed learning environment.
